A Dangerous Symphony by Bryan Snuffer

The deck of an aircraft carrier is an accident waiting to happen. One wrong move and disaster can strike. In Bryan's striking painting, modern day carrier aircrews, deck personel and aircraft directors participate in a perilous dance around a Navy FA-18F "Super Hornet", defying the impossible In a very small space.

The "Yellow Shirts" are flight deck officers and plane directors. "Green Shirts" operate and maintain the catapults and arresting gear. "Red Shirts" are the ordnance crews, loading and arming the aircraft's weapons. Other crew (not pictured) wear purple (fuel), brown (plane captain), blue (flight deck) and white (with a red cross - crash crew) shirts.
