A long-time favorite of bush pilots around the world, the Cessna 185 thrives in Alaska’s rugged backcountry. The powerful 185 performs equally well on skis, floats, or tundra tires. Although it doesn’t have the short field abilities of a Super Cub, it does carry four adults and lots of gear, and it gets them where they’re going twice as fast.
