On March 31 and April 1, 1945, the Tuskegee Airmen of the 332nd Fighter Group roamed southern Germany seeking targets of opportunity. During this two day period, they shot down 25 enemy aircraft and lost only one of their own fighters. The aircraft in the foreground are 'Duchess Arlene' (1st Lt. Robert W. Williams) and 'Creamer's Dream' (1st Lt. Charles White).
