The B-29 Super Fortress played an important role in America's victory in the Pacific during WW II. Capable of carrying a huge payload over a great range. The B-29 has gained notoriety as the vehicle to drop the atomic bombs on Japan, but tens of thousands on non-atomic missions were also flown. These aircraft often carried some of the best nose art of the War. Each print is co-signed by all five officers of the Texas Doll, a B-29 which flew out of Saipan in 1944 and 1945.
