At the height of the Battle of Britain, the Me-109E's of JG54, escorting Do-17's, encounter Hawker Hurricanes over the English coast. JG54 was led by Hans Ekkehard Bob, whose signature in on this print. This lithograph, from an original painting by Roy Grinnell, was launched in England, May, 2002 to commemorate the Battle of Britain.
