Lt. Klaus Bretschneider rolls his FW-190 Rauhbautz "Streetfighter" into position behind three 303rd Bomb Group B-17s. The point of view in this dramatic encounter is the exact reverse of the 25' x 75' mural, "Fortresses Under Fire", which covers one entire wall in the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.
