Phantom Finale by Philip West

Phantom XT597 was one of two pre-production model F-4K aircraft produced prior to the type's delivery into service. To commemorate the final flight of this magnificent aircraft the aviation artist Philip West was commissioned to paint this outstanding image of XT597, call sign, "Gauntlet 11", blasting away from Boscombe Down on its final sortie.
